In addition, tothe usual names, dates and places she writes about the individuals, physical description, occupations. hobbies, education and travels.  Pearl Harbor, bombing runs over Germany and life in a Defense Plant are also mentioned. Finally, it contains a transcription of Lillian's father, Charles William August Nothdurft, Civil War diary of the Old Price Campaign - Oct. 1, 1864 to Nov. 15, 1864.Can you imagine cavalrymen riding an average of 22 miles per day for 45 days and some days as much as 60 miles?
