
The History of St. Martin's Church in Rhuden describes the
village and
kind of life the Nothdurft's lived. The Nothdurft's were active in support
of the church rebuilding in 1834. Pictures of the village today and St.
Martin's Church are included. Some of the original Parish Records mentioning
Nothdurft's are shown. Maps show the location of Rhuden in Germany. Background

The Nothdurft's came to America on the Bark Diana with their
friends
who continued to live in the same area of Missouri. They were: Grebe, Sanders,
Ahrens (Aherns?), Brennecke, Hartmann, Meyer,and Blumenberg. The complete
Passenger List is included.
The Nothdurft brothers all bought government land in the samearea. Land
records, location maps are in the book as well as somecopies of the original
government Land Grants.
The research effort is detailed with the genealogy of John
Julius along
with an index of over 2200 names produced by Ultimate Family Software.
